Young Equestrians help raise funds for BBC Children in Need!

Young Equestrians and Pony Club Members from Witherslack Hall Equestrian Centre hosted a sponsored ride to help raise funds to support this year’s appeal.

BBC Children in Need works throughout the year to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood, and the chance to reach their full potential. It relies on the energy and commitment of thousands of fundraisers and supporters across the UK, who donate their time and money to put on events in support of the Appeal.

Witherslack Hall was able to raise over £1300 thanks to the twenty riders who dressed up in spotty clothing and Pudsey face paint to take part in the event.

Deana Tarr Proprietor said: “We’re overwhelmed with the response we had to doing our Sponsored Ride as a fundraiser and would like to say a huge thank you to all those who took part! It was great fun supporting BBC Children in Need and to know that we’ve raised £1,350 is a fantastic feeling. ”
