Eighteen teenagers at Red Piece Equestrian Stables kicked off their Young Equestrians group with fun Mounted Games and Show Jumping competitions.
The sun was shining over Shropshire on Sunday 19 April 2015 for Kemberton Riding Stables’ Open Day, organised and run by a group of riders who are part of the ‘Young Equestrians’ scheme.
An initial eight participants, aged 13-17, took part at the Young Equestrians launch afternoon at Oakhanger Riding Centre,where they focused on training the horse from the ground and how body language affects the horses behaviour.
March has seen more Young Equestrians launches, Burrows Lane in Merseyside and Ivanhoe Equestrian in Leicestershire
